Bridges was drafted in the 2018 NBA draft when he was picked by the Philadelphia 76ers as a 10th overall pick, but was traded to the Phoenix Suns. He is playing his eighth NBA season as of May 17, 2025, and has appeared in 556 games, averaging 14.8 points and four rebounds per game. Birdges was named to the NBA All-Defensive First Team in 2022.
