Deion Sanders' daughter Deiondra Sanders and her boyfriend, Jacquees, hosted a gender reveal party for their first child on Saturday. The rapper took to Instagram to share some snaps from the moment after it became known that it was a boy. He also asked the fans if they could tell he was happy at that moment.

Deiondra and Jacquees counted down from 10 with all the guests before the father-to-be pushed the TNT detonator to reveal the gender. The snaps he shared captured the moments just after that as the blue smoke engulfed the background.

“Can you tell I was happy? 😂 LOL 😎💙,” he wrote in the caption of his Instagram post.

Deiondra’s dad, Deion Sanders, congratulated the couple on the reveal, calling his grandson a "little engine." Several current and former Colorado Buffaloes football stars also followed their coach in reacting to the gender reveal party.

“Congratulations on the Little Engine!” Deion Sanders wrote in the comments.
“Lit 🤣🤣💙,” former Colorado and current Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Xavier Weaver commented.
“😂😂😂yesssir💙,” Buffaloes wide receiver Jimmy Horn Jr. wrote.

Deiondra announced her pregnancy in March in a social media post that also revealed the health problems she faced. She has been planning the gender reveal party since last month, with Jacquees being put on venue-hunting duties. While the R&B singer had already revealed that he preferred to have a boy, Deiondra said she was going back and forth between team boy and team girl.

Deion Sanders too young to be a grandpa?

When the news of Deiondra Sanders' pregnancy first broke, Deion Sanders was promoting his book "Elevate and Dominate." He went to "The Kelly Clarkson Show" and was greeted with loud fan cheers and the news of him becoming a grandpa. He ended up making a hilarious statement about all of it.

“Oh my God, don't tell me that. I'm too young to be a Grandpa,” he joked on the show.

But he expressed happiness at the news and said he was proud of his daughter. He also said that though he has three sons and two daughters, it was Deiondra who was his baby. Some days after the appearance, he also picked a sport that his grandson would pursue.

According to him, the newest member of the Sanders clan will be a soccer player. Coach Prime may have said he is too young to be a grandpa, but he has already embraced the title and the responsibilities that come with it.
