The biggest league in the world, the English Premier League continues to surprise on a weekly basis.
Some of the best players in the world ply their trade in the top tier of England, and Premier League clubs have established their dominance in Europe as well, with Manchester City, Chelsea, Manchester United and Arsenal all in the semi-finals of European cup competitions.
However, certain players tend to get slightly overrated. Some top-class performances tend to increase their value dramatically, and while there is no questioning their talent, fans and pundits often tend to hype them beyond a certain level.
We look at the 5 most overrated players in the Premier League.
#5 Adama Traore (Wolverhampton Wanderers)
There is no denying Adama Traore's talent, but he remains a frustratingly inconsistent player for Wolverhampton Wanderers.
A physically strong player blessed with blistering pace, Traore has been a constant feature for Wolverhampton Wanderers since his debut. He joined the club from Middlesbrough in 2018 for a fee of £18 million, and has been utilized as a winger and as a wing-back by manager Nuno Espirito Santo.
The Spain international was linked with clubs like Liverpool and Barcelona after some good performances last season, but those rumors have died down. This season, the 25-year old has played 31 Premier League games, scoring one goal and providing two assists.
#4 Tyrone Mings (Aston Villa)
Tyrone Mings played an important role in Aston Villa's promotion to the Premier League, but questions have been raised about his performances this season.
The centre-back initially joined Aston Villa on loan in the Championship, with the club signing the 28-year old on a permanent deal from Bournemouth for a fee of £20 million after their promotion. Mings did not have the best of luck with injuries at Bournemouth, but was seen as an ideal addition to the Aston Villa backline.
Mings' centre-back partner Ezri Konsa has been applauded for his performances this season. However, Mings has not enjoyed the best of seasons, and the England international will need to be more consistent.

#3 Lucas Moura (Tottenham Hotspur)
A prodigious talent who was coveted by some of the biggest clubs in the world, Lucas Moura decided to join Paris Saint-Germain in 2013 to progress his career.
Moura enjoyed a fairly good stint with the Ligue 1 giants, but dwindling game time saw the Brazil international join Tottenham Hotspur in January 2018 for a fee of £25.5 million. While Moura has featured heavily under both Mauricio Pochettino and his successor Jose Mourinho at Spurs, he has not been highly impressive.
The 28-year old has enjoyed some good moments with Tottenham Hotspur at right wing, but it is a position Spurs could upgrade in the summer. Moura has made 27 appearances in the Premier League this season, out of which 13 have been starts. He has scored three goals and provided four assists.
#2 Gabriel Jesus (Manchester City)
Sergio Aguero will depart Manchester City at the end of the season, and Gabriel Jesus is yet to convince that he can replace the Argentine star.
Jesus has been used in a number of forward positions by manager Pep Guardiola at Manchester City. The Brazil international joined Manchester City from Palmeiras in January 2017 for a fee of £29 million, and impressed with his early performances. But it is evident that he is not a consistent goalscorer like Aguero.
Since joining Manchester City, Jesus has made 187 appearances in all competitions, scoring 81 goals. This season, the 24-year old has made 23 Premier League appearances, scoring eight goals and providing three assists. With Manchester City reportedly in the market for a striker, it remains to be seen what that means for Jesus.
#1 Wilfried Zaha (Crystal Palace)
Wilfried Zaha is one of Crystal Palace's most important players, if not the most important player.
However, it remains unlikely that the Ivory Coast international will get the big move that has often been suggested for him. Zaha has been heavily linked with Arsenal and Everton in the past, but little has transpired from those rumors, despite Zaha showing interest in leaving Crystal Palace.
While Zaha has been one of Crystal Palace's best players, some of the fees reported in order to buy him from Crystal Palace have raised eyebrows. The 28-year old has made 386 appearances for the club across two spells, scoring 66 goals. This season, Zaha has made 23 Premier League appearances, scoring nine goals and providing two assists.
