Gorkha 11: 76/4 after 8.5 overs beat Friendship CC by 6 wickets.
An easy win in the end for Gorkha 11 and they qualify for the semifinals. A target of 73 was never going to cause much trouble. The middle-order partnership between Praveen Singh and Arslan Naseem helped stabilize the chase. Praveen Singh scored 23 from 16 balls and Arslan Naseem made 14 from 10 deliveries. There was a bit of a scare for Gorkha 11 midway through their chase as Taher Hossain bowled a good spell of 2/10. Sayful Huda also picked two wickets, but there were too few runs on the scoreboard for the Friendship CC bowlers to defend the total successfully.
Earlier, Friendship CC somehow managed to bat out their quota of 10 overs. At one stage they were reduced to 26/6 and it looked like they would be bowled out but the lower-order batters did show some patience. Nothing went right for the Friendship CC batters. Four batters were dismissed on duck. The top scorer of the innings was the extras bowled by Gorkha 11. There were 18 extras bowled. The highest-scoring batter was Md Nazrul Islam who managed 15 from 11 balls. The Friendship CC batters were in no mood to bat today and it clearly shows on the scoreboard. The Gorkha 11 bowlers made the best of the poor batting show. Rahul Bhardwaj was the pick of the bowlers as he bowled a superb spell of 4/10. He got good support from the other bowlers.

8.5 Mohammad Asad to Absar Alam, FOUR! ENDS THE GAME IN STYLE! Slanted into the batter on a full length and Alam walks across his stumps before whipping it up and over the backward square leg region as he picks out the vast, empty real estate in the deep to seal the game in grand fashion! Gorkha 11 win by 6 wickets with seven deliveries to spare and they have qualified for the semifinals of the ECS T10 Cartaxo!
8.4 Mohammad Asad to Absar Alam, full and angled into the off-stump, Alam comes forward to push it through the line of the ball towards the bowler.
8.3 Mohammad Asad to Suman Ghimire, short in length outside off, Suman stands tall and throws his bat at it with the ball flying towards third man as the batters run a single to level the scores!
8.2 Mohammad Asad to Absar Alam, angled into the stumps on a length, Alam clips it on the up off his pads towards the man at deep square leg for a single.
8.1 Mohammad Asad to Absar Alam, APPEAL FOR LBW! Full and shaping into the leg-stump, Alam is caught in his crease as he jams his bat down straight before the ball pins him on the front pad with the angle. Would have gone well down leg though!
M Asad to bowl.
Six runs from the over. The boundary from the last delivery of the over means Gorkha 11 now need only three more runs to win this match and go through to the semifinals.

7.6 Naim Rahman to Suman Ghimire, FOUR! BLUDGEONED! It was overpitched outside off and Suman makes a hint of room before throwing his hands at it for a powerful drive through the covers as the ball rockets through the outfield like a tracer bullet!
7.5 Naim Rahman to Suman Ghimire, STIFLED SHOUT! Short of a length and angled into the batter on middle and leg, Suman is caught in his crease as he fails to make contact with the ball to be struck quite high on the thigh pads!
7.4 Naim Rahman to Absar Alam, full and angled into the stumps again, Alam comes forward to nudge it between mid-wicket and mid-on before tearing across to the other end of the pitch.
7.3 Naim Rahman to Suman Ghimire, JUST SHORT! Slanted into the stumps on a length, Suman picks it up and over square leg before the ball just drops in front of the man patrolling the ropes as the batters cross over.
7.2 Naim Rahman to Suman Ghimire, MIX-UP! The batters are safe though! It was a full one around off and Suman carves it on the up before the ball drops short of the fielder at mid-off. The batters contemplate a risky run before the fielder fumbles to allow them to get back to their respective marks!
7.1 Naim Rahman to Suman Ghimire, low full toss at the stumps, Suman stands his ground to check it with a lift towards cover point.
A strange strage over. Two wickets and 20 runs from the over. Sayful Huda struggled early in the over and was hammered for plenty of runs but he completed his spell in style picking the wickets of Arslan Naseem and Parveen Singh off successive balls. A little too late for Friendship CC to pick wickets.

6.6 Sayful Huda to Parveen Singh, OUT! SOFT DISMISSAL! Parveen will not want to watch the replay of this one! It was a rank full length delivery on the pads and he could have put it away anywhere. Instead, he flicks it on the up and straight into the hands of short mid-wicket to hand Huda his second wicket in as many deliveries!
