DK Metcalf is an American football wide receiver for the Pittsburgh Steelers as of March 2025. The Seattle Seahawks selected Metcalf as the 64th pick in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft. The two-time Pro Bowler started 15 of the 16 games he played in the 2019 season and concluded with 900 receiving yards and seven touchdowns. In 2020 he recorded his first 1,000-yard season by accumulating 1,303 yards. The following season, he had 967 receiving yards and scored 12 touchdowns. Metcalf extended his contract for three more years with the Seahawks in 2022 and finished the season with 1,048 receiving yards. He put up a back-to-back 1,000-yard season for the first time in his career in 2023 by piling up 1,114 yards on 66 receptions that year. Metcalf came up short of reaching his third consecutive 1k receiving yards season in the 2024 campaign, as he finished the year with 992 yards through the air. After getting traded to Pittsburgh in March 2025, the Steelers gave Metcalf a 4-year extension worth $132 million, as reported by Spotrac. Growing up in Oxford, Mississippi, Metcalf went to Oxford High School. The 6-foot-4 wideout accumulated more than 3,300 yards in the receiving game during his high school tenure. He finished his secondary education and committed to the University of Mississippi playing for the Ole Miss Rebels from 2016 to 2018. DK concluded his collegiate tenure with 1,228 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns.

As of March 2025, DK Metcalf has appeared in four postseason games. Metcalf made his debut in the playoffs during his rookie season in 2019. His second postseason appearance came in the following year.

After a one-year hiatus, Metcalf again made the playoffs in the 2022 season.

DK Metcalf Playoffs Win-Loss Record

DK Metcalf’s playoff record stands at 1-3 as of March 2025. Metcalf’s first playoff game came against the Philadelphia Eagles in the wild-card round of the 2019 season. Metcalf had 7 receptions for 160 yards and a touchdown in that game. The Seahawks won that game 17-9. In the Divisional Round that year against the Green Bay Packers, Metcalf had 59 receiving yards and Seattle lost that game 23-28.

He made it to the postseason second time in the following season. This time he had 96 yards on 5 receptions against the divisional rival Los Angeles Rams in the 2020 Wild Card Round. The Seahawks lost the game 20-30.

His third appearance in the postseason came against their divisional foe San Francisco 49ers in the 2022 Wild Card Round. While DK caught 10 passes for 136 yards, the Seahawks still went on to lose the game, 23-41.
