DeKaylin Zecharius 'DK' Metcalf is an American football wide receiver for the Seattle Seahawks in the NFL. He started playing collegiate football with the University of Mississippi, popularly referred to as Ole Miss, catching sixty-seven passes for twelve hundred and twenty-eight yards and scoring fourteen touchdowns. The Seattle Seahawks drafted Metcalf as the 64th pick in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He proved himself right from the beginning, completing an NFL record for receiving yards by a player in his rookie game for the franchise. Thus, during Metcalf’s rookie season, he was rated the second among the NFL rookie receivers in terms of the number of receptions, and the third in terms of receiving yards.

In 2020, Metcalf was named second-team AP All-Pro and earned a Pro Bowl spot, after breaking the franchise record with 1,303 receiving yards. He kept on prospering, as he became the team’s leading receptor and also achieved most of the team’s touchdowns in the following year. Metcalf has been able to record successive 1,000 yards in 2022 and 2023, making him one of the seven players in Seahawks history to do so. He attended Oxford High School in Mississippi.
