Tom Brady’s Clothing Line

Last Modified Nov 8, 2022 05:24 GMT

Tom Brady has built a legacy for himself at the NFL as one of the best quarterbacks to have ever graced the game. Dubbed as the greatest of all time (G.O.A.T.) by many fans, Tom Brady has won all there is to win in the league. With the 2022 NFL season most probably being his last in the league, Brady is now moving onto other ventures in life. With his brand TB12 already receiving major success, Brady has now started his own clothing brand. Surprised about Brady’s new venture? Take a look at Tom Brady’s latest clothing line venture called ‘BRADY’.

What is Tom Brady’s Clothing Line called?

Tom Brady’s clothing line is aligned with his namesake branding. Just like the TB12, his clothing line named after him is called ‘BRADY’. Tom Brady has branded several products with the trademark of ‘BRADY’, the clothing line is the latest venture he founded along with Jens Grede and designer Dao-Yi-Chao.

When did Tom Brady start his clothing line?

Tom Brady launched his clothing brand in January 2022, shortly before he had announced his retirement from the NFL. However, Brady decided to turn back on his decision to retire and the league is all the better for it. Tom Brady had worked along with Jens Grede and Dao-Yi-Chow for three years to create the clothing line and finally launch it.

The clothing brand is aimed towards people of all body types. The clothing line also has designs for kids and young adults. With a massive net worth to his name already Tom Brady is only planning on expanding it with his different business ventures. The clothing brand ‘BRADY’ is part of his plans to expand the trademark Brady as a multi-functional brand. He worked hard over three years along with his co-founders to create the clothing line which incorporates the best in fabric, technology and innovative designing.

What kind of clothes are included in his clothing line ‘BRADY’?

Tom Brady has said that the brand is suited for multi-faceted use. It is not just an athleisure brand or a sporty brand as some would associate the name ‘BRADY’ with. The clothing line is comfort clothing which he himself envisions wearing once he hangs up his football boots for good.

The clothing line is divided into two categories, ‘LIVE’ and ‘TRAIN’. These design silos are made to be interchangeable. ‘LIVE’ is the fashion forward part of the ‘BRADY’ clothing line. It is trendy and suitable for wearing for dinner or going out with friends. ‘TRAIN’ as the name suggests is the part of the clothing line which is meant as active wear. It contains anti-odor and anti-microbial material which is useful during a good workout. The material used in the clothing line is a super soft yarn called ‘Zero Hydro Yarn Polo’ which does not shed microfibres even after being washed. The material is very comfortable and ultra-lightweight, almost fleece like.

The clothing line is designed according to how bodies are actually shaped. A thing to note about the clothing line is that it focuses more on the material of the product than its aesthetics of it (not to say that the designs are not trendy enough).

Who designed the clothing line?

Tom Brady’s clothing line has been largely designed by Dao-Yi-Chow and Jans Grede. Tom Brady himself was very involved in the process of designing the clothing line along with his co-founders.

Jens Grede has helped launch successful apparel initiatives with the likes of Khloe Kardashian and Kim Kardashian. Dan-Yi-Chow who is also a co-founder of ‘BRADY’ is the main designer of the clothing line. He is also the co-founder of an award winning label called Public School and also designed exclusive Nike Air Force One sneakers. Chao designed the clothing line with inspiration from his own streetwear label to produce movement-friendly and breathable designs. The clothing line ‘BRADY’ was initially launched with 45 pieces with more being added with time. The designs are not specifically athleisure or casual clothing and features products which tread in between the two. The fabric is the highlight of the designing process and the major reason it took three years to finally perfect it and launch the clothing line, ‘BRADY’.

Where to Buy Tom Brady’s Clothing line?

Upon its launch, the clothing line ‘BRADY’ was available across only two platforms. The main place to shop for Tom Brady’s clothing line is its official website. The entire clothing line was also made available to be purchased on the website called Nordstrom, which makes shipping accessible to other countries across the globe. They can also be purchased from Nordstrom stores across the country.
