AEW Dynamite: 3 rumored signings that could lead to some interesting real-life couples

There have been many couples coming out of the wrestling business over the past few years, with Nikki Bella and John Cena seemingly starting a culture in the business that has now seen many current superstars on WWE TV become stars of Total Divas.

Even though there are more than 20 real-life couples in WWE right now, there is just one couple in AEW and it's the most well-known couple in the company. Cody and Brandi Rhodes have become the Triple H and Stephanie McMahon of AEW ever since the show debuted a few months ago and it's time that there were some other couples to mix up the roster a little.

AEW is new on the ground but there are a few stars scatted around the Independent Wrestling Scene who could be snapped up by AEW to create quite a dynamic when it comes to couples.

#3 Braxton Sutter

Could Allie and Braxton Sutter be reunited in AEW?

Braxton Sutter managed to make quite a name for himself in Impact Wrestling throughout the three years that he was there. Sutter is perhaps best known for being the husband of current AEW star Allie, who worked in Impact Wrestling for several years and is a former Knockout's Champion.

Allie and Sutter married back in 2013 after dating for several years, the couple worked well together in Impact as part of a storyline with Maria and Mike Kanellis back in 2017 and it could bring an interesting dynamic to AEW if he's able to follow his wife's lead.

Sutter parted ways with Impact Wrestling back in April 2018, which means that he would be available to sign for AEW if the company came knocking and would be a fantastic addition to their tag team division.

#2 Priscilla Kelly

Priscilla Kelly and Darby Allin have worked together before

Priscilla Kelly has made some headlines in recent months because some of her antics in the wrestling ring are deemed to be somewhat controversial, so it comes as no surprise that she's the wife of current AEW star Darby Allin.

Kelly actually worked for AEW as part of the Casino Women's Battle Royal at All Out, but she hasn't appeared for the promotion since so it's clear that she wasn't signed after this performance. Kelly comes with a whole host of accolades since she even competed as part of the Mae Young Classic back in 2018, but lost in the first round.

Kelly has been one of the stand out stars in a number of promotions over the past few years including Shine and Evolve, but it would be interesting to see her alongside Darby Allin in AEW.

Both Allin and Kelly have their own interesting wrestling style, with Kelly open to adding controversial things to her matches to ensure that the world is always talking, whilst Allin has become known for his insane ability to put his body on the line in matches as part of scenarios that have never been done before.

#1 Will Ospreay

Will AEW ever convince Will Ospreay to join his girlfriend Bea as part of their roster?

Will Ospreay is one of the best-known wrestlers in the world, but he is currently signed to New Japan Pro Wrestling. Ospreay's style has allowed him to put on some fantastic matches over the years, against the likes of Ricochet, Kazuchika Okada and WWE Cruiserweight Tournament star Kota Ibushi.

Ospreay was linked with a move to WWE when the company were pushing towards the NXT UK brand, but it appears that Ospreay preferred the freedom that he was given in Japan. The British star has a number of friends in AEW including former NJPW stars Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks as well as his girlfriend Bea Priestley.

Priestley has been creating waves of her own in AEW in recent weeks, competing on the Kickoff show of Full Gear last weekend where Awesome Kong and Brandi Rhodes decided to come out and attack her before cutting off a patch of her hair. Together Ospreay and Priestley have been known to work well and if Ospreay can be convinced to leave his beloved Japan then there could be a new power couple in AEW.
