Monday Night Raw Preview: 5 October, 2015

What turn with the revolution take now?

The Authority has a few things to sort on this week’s RAWThe latest episode of Monday Night Raw is just hours away. As usual the weekly flagship show of the WWE will be met with high expectation from the fans as we are one step closer to Hell in a Cell. WWE has a lot of mess to clean up and even more storylines to bake. The response that the MSG show attracted will add some extra pressure on the shoulders of the writers. John Cena will be the center of attraction as the rumors of him taking time off are circulating around the block. Apart from this, there are segments to be dealt with in the main event, midcard, divas division and the tag team division. Here is a detailed look at them:

#5 Revolution continues

What turn with the revolution take now?

The Divas Revolution gained life due to the heel turn of Paige. The PCB alliance is broken and the title picture has been widened. Paige and Nikki Bella are equal contenders for the WWE Divas championship right now and Charlotte will be feeling the pressure of being champion.

The grudge between Natalya and Paige is another storyline worth following. Having feuds outside the Divas Championship situation is what the company needs for a solid Divas Division and for that, they need to book more than one Divas match at Hell in a Cell. Team BAD should be aptly managed in the longer run and seeds should be sown for this.

#4 John Cena paradox

What does the future behold?

The observer reported that John Cena is all set to take some time off. This has kicked off a plethora of rumors and WWE will have no option but to address the same. The way in which they are going write Cena off from the television would be interesting to see. Apart from this, there is a decision to be made about the United States Championship as well.

WWE cannot afford to keep the title off television for such a long time and will have to come up with a new champion. Someone from NXT will be apt for the situation and the fans will not have many complaints about this.

#2 Another botched ending

Will there be a definitive finish?

The tag team division saw another botched ending at the MSG live event when Dudley Boys won the championship match through disqualification. New Day managed to survive another scare but the veteran tag team is sure to get another shot at the championship soon.

Hell in a Cell is the most probable stage for the same and if we go by the rumors, then WWE will book a Tables match involving the two teams. Removing Dudleys from the championship scene will be a big mistake for WWE and they are unlikely to do that. The other teams deserve a mention this week on Raw as well since they have been out of the scene for a long time.

#1 Cat and Mouse

Which Kane will show up?

Seth Rollins and Kane are currently playing a cat and mouse game. From what we saw till now, Kane will get a shot at the WWE championship soon and only the pacing of the storyline is to be sorted this week on Raw. The friction between Kane and the Authority will act as a solid subplot for the storyline whereas the dual identity of the Big Red monster acts as another.

Kane interfering in the Seth Rollins vs. John Cena match at MSG adds more seriousness to the whole feud. Rollins will probably come out complaining about this which in turn will spark the segments that will happen in the episode.
