One of the most anticipated pay-per-view events of the year, Money in the Bank, is always a thrill to watch. The event is known to produce hardcore ladder matches for the entertainment of the fans. As always there has been a winner in the MITB match but there is something else we can also note.
Let’s pick the top five moves from the event:
#5 Golden Truth slapping and chopping Breezango:
Money in the Bank didn’t appear to be a good start for the handsome ones as they got locked in their tanning beds by Golden Truth. The outcome of the prank obtained Tyler Breeze and Fandango with burns.
As the match began, Goldust and R-Truth didn't waste any time to unleash some nasty slaps and chops to the body of their opponents. Things didn't appear well for Fandango and Breeze as they were chopped on their burns. This move was enough to help Golden Truth attain victory and also did well enough to secure the 5th spot on our list.
#4 Lucha Dragon’s finisher on The Dudley Boyz:
One of the most decorated tag teams, The Dudley Boyz squared off against the Lucha Dragons. The kings of Lucha Libre moves had to put their skills to the test against the pioneers of hardcore wrestling and table matches, The Dudley Boyz. The match was style against style match which turned out to be more favourable to the Lucha Dragons.
The match ended with the Lucha Dragons able to execute their finisher on The Dudley Boyz, which left the fans with something to remember.
#3 Sami Zayn Thunder-bombs Kevin Owen on a suspended ladder:
The hottest match of the night, Money in the Bank Ladder match involved heart thumping moves. With back and forth action between the participants, the match turned out to be one of the best ladder matches ever. The wrestlers performed to their full potential by taking several bumps. But the most devastating of them all was Kevin Owen receiving a Thunderbomb from Sami Zayn on the side of a ladder!
Judging by Sami Zayn’s rage it appeared as though he was still not done punishing Owens for his betrayal. Fans stood from their seats as the match left them awestruck. The match ended with Dean Ambrose picking up the victory after climbing the ladder obtains the suitcase.
#2 Apollo Crews’ belly to belly suplex on Sheamus:
Apollo Crews might as well be the next big powerhouse in the main roster. With his massive physique and his athletism, there isn’t any move that he can’t execute in his dictionary. The big man proved that he can not only just lift and drop his opponents but also toss them out of the ring.
The fans were shocked to see Crews execute a belly to belly suplex on Sheamus tossing him over the ropes to land hard on the floor. There wasn’t much to be seen after that as he sealed his victory a little while later. But Crew’s suplex was something fans will always remember.
#1 Seth Rollins brings the Roman Empire down by countering his Spear with a Pedigree:
Time for the main event. Rollins got the better of the fans support while most of them booed ‘the guy’ Roman Reigns. One against the other did the two old buddies fight until the end. When all looked fine for Reigns, he attempted for a spear only to be caught into a quick, smart pedigree by Rollins.
This created a huge pop in the arena that gained the architect with an advantage. Rollins tireless efforts bagged him the top spot on the list
