WWE has announced Triple H to appear on SmackDown tonight

In a surprising turn of events, a WWE Superstar recently blacked out their social media profiles.

The Superstar in question is former Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn. 2023 has been a successful year for Sami. The Canadian wrestler played an integral part in The Bloodline storyline. He had the fans invested since the first day he expressed his desire to join the faction on screen.

After betraying the group, Zayn challenged the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns, and took the champion to his absolute limit. The former Bloodline member, however, teamed up with Kevin Owens to defeat Roman Reigns' cousins, The Usos, and become the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions.

Sami Zayn recently took to his Twitter account to post a cryptic update. The former NXT Champion posted a completely blacked-out picture. He also made this picture into his Profile Picture. Sami also did the same on his Instagram account. It may be all because of the ongoing war between Israel and Palestine.

"#NewProfilePic," he wrote.

Here is the post from Sami Zayn's Twitter account.

Zayn and Kevin Owens may be headed to SmackDown this week to help RAW friends Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso. The two will be facing the team of Austin Theory and Grayson Waller tonight. There is a huge possibility of The Bloodline getting involved in the match and attacking the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions.

Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens lost an important match on WWE RAW

Sami and Kevin lost their championship belts to Damian Priest and Finn Balor at Payback. Their 154-day reign was cut short as all the members of The Judgment Day and JD McDonagh made their presence felt.

To everyone's surprise, Priest and Balor dropped the titles to an unlikely team of Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso at Fastlane. On the following episode of RAW, Zayn and Owens challenged the new champions to a title match. The duo obliged and successfully defended their title belts in the main event. All four wrestlers showed mutual respect after the bout.
