WWE: RAW Preview for 1st July

Mark Henry 1

Last week on RAW, CM Punk’s questions were answered when Heyman told Punk he had nothing to do with Lesnar’s attack. Punk believed Heyman, and made peace with his ‘best friend’. When the Prime Time Players attacked Punk after his match, Heyman’s newest client, the Intercontinental champion Curtis Axel made the save, but Punk was far from impressed. Also, last week’s RAW ended with Daniel Bryan finally defeating Randy Orton, and Orton shook Bryan’s hand to finally prove that Bryan is not the weak link. Before this week’s RAW rolls out, here is the RAW preview.

Mark Henry and John Cena on a collision course

Couple of weeks ago, Mark Henry fooled the world and the WWE champion John Cena into thinking that he was retiring from professional wrestling. As a visibly upset Henry delivered what seemed to be his final promo in the WWE, Mark Henry dropped John Cena with a WSS, telling Cena he still has a lot left in the tank.

Last week, both Cena and Henry delivered promos saying they were ready for their now confirmed match at the Money in the Bank PPV. With only two weeks to go for the PPV, what will Henry do this week to send yet another message to the WWE champion? Will Cena return the favor to Henry for what he did two weeks ago? It will be interesting to see what transpires between the two superstars this week.

Dolph Ziggler sends his message across to Del Rio

Alberto

Last week on Smackdown, Dolph Ziggler crashed Alberto Del Rio’s “Championship Fiesta” and delivered a guitar shot to Ricardo. With Ziggler hell bent on reclaiming what he feels to be rightfully his, what will Alberto Del Rio do this week?

ADR has been involved in a couple of good segments ever since he won the World Heavyweight title, and with his rivalry seeming to be over with Chris Jericho, how will ADR respond to Ziggler’s attack? We will soon find out.

Kaitlyn gets her payback

Kaitlyn

Last week on RAW, AJ played mind games with Kaitlyn by dressing up like her, to distract her during her match and humiliated her in front of the live crowd. During Smackdown, Kaitlyn repaid her the favor by dressing up like AJ, and cost her the match against Natalya.

What will happen this week? Will AJ get her revenge on Kaitlyn? Or will the former WWE Divas champion send another strong message before the Money in the Bank PPV. This week has all the elements to make for a memorable episode of Monday Night RAW.

The Paul Heyman Guys take on Prime Time Players

Punk Sir

Last week, Curtis Axel saved CM Punk from a double team attack by the Prime Time Players. While a visibly upset Punk told Heyman that he did not need anyone’s help, Heyman informed CM Punk that he had talked to Vickie and made a match between the Paul Heyman guys and the Prime Time Players.

What will happen this week? Will Heyman finally show his true colors by turning on Punk? Will Brock Lesnar be present on this week’s show? There are a lot of possibilities which can make this feud a lot more interesting, and this makes this week’s show a must-watch episode.

Daniel Bryan defeats Randy Orton

Bryan D

Last week on RAW, Bryan and Orton were involved in one of the best matches of the year, and Bryan finally put his demons to rest as he made the Apex Predator tap out to his LaBelle lock. With Bryan finally proving to himself and the fans that he is not a weak link, where will he go from here? What will Randy Orton do, now that he lost to Bryan?

Bryan has been the hottest superstar in the WWE for the past couple of months and it will be interesting to see where he goes from here. His road to super-stardom might start tonight, as we head to yet another exciting episode of Monday Night RAW.
