Who's he? - Westbrook does not care for Steph Curry's MVP prediction
Russell Westbrook replied in typically robust fashion after Stephen Curry tipped MVP rival James Harden to take the prestigious individual NBA honour, asking, "Who's he?"
The race for the MVP is seemingly between Oklahoma City Thunder star Westbrook and Harden of the Houston Rockets.
Golden State Warriors star Curry, the reigning MVP, offered his two cents this week when he said: "You kind of have to reward the better team, I would think, record-wise.
"That's just kind of going in the history of the MVP award. So, I think James [Harden] will probably edge [Westbrook] out just off of that."
But Westbrook, speaking to reporters at a shoot around, replied with typical nonchalance, saying: "I don't care. It don't matter what he say. Who's he?"
Westbrook's comment was meant more in a "who is he to say who should win MVP?" way and clearly Curry's thoughts have had little impact on the Thunder point guard.
