It is Matchday 3 of IPL 2018 and the returning Rajasthan Royals face off against the Sunrisers Hyderabad at Hyderabad. RR will be without Steven Smith for this season but they have got an able replacement in D'Arcy Short, who just created the record for the most runs in a Big Bash season. SRH, meanwhile, will definitely miss David Warner at the top and as a captain as he has been key to their success.

RR have revamped their team with some of the most expensive buys at this year’s auction. SRH retained some of their key members and bought wisely to strengthen their middle order.

3. Jofra Archer (4.9 M) – RR went all out for him in the auction. Archer is in good form and will be a very good differential option at that price.

4. Shakib Al Hasan (9.1 M) – He has a very good record in the IPL and will play a key role with the bat and ball for SRH this season.

5. Alex Hales (9.4 M) – A replacement for Warner this season. Hales is likely to open the batting for SRH. He can be troubled by spin sometimes but RR do not have too many proven spin options in their squad.

1. Deepak Hooda (8.7 M) – He had a very good domestic season with the bat and has been with SRH for quite some time now. He can chip in with few overs too if required.

2. RA Tripathi (6.7 M) – He had a fantastic season for RPS in IPL 2017. He is likely to open the batting with Rahane again and would hope to repeat the performances of last season..

3. K Gowtham (6.6 M) – Many were surprised at the price he went for in the auction but RR firmly believe in him to deliver. A handy hitter down the order too.

4. Siddharth Kaul (9.4 M) – He has performed well for SRH and is likely to share the burden of bowling at the death with Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

5. Shreyas Gopal (4.6M) – His leg spin will provide balance and variety to the Rajasthan Royals’ bowling attack but will he play ahead of Binny?
