IPL 2019: Match 9, KXIP vs MI: Dream11 Prediction & Dotball Picks, Playing XI Updates & IPL Fantasy Cricket Tips - March 30th, 2019
After an entertaining week of IPL 2019 action, both the Mumbai Indians and Kings XI Punjab, who play each other in the first match of an exciting doubleheader on Saturday, find themselves with two points each in the IPL points table. Both teams find themselves in the midst of controversies, which has seemingly overshadowed their remarkable performances against the likes of Rajasthan Royals and Royal Challengers Bangalore respectively.
With two astute captains in Ravichandran Ashwin and Rohit Sharma taking centre stage in Mohali, here are a few tips to help you pick your fantasy team for this contest.
Squads to choose from
Kings XI Punjab

Playing XI Updates
Kings XI Punjab
After being left out of the previous game, Mujeeb ur Rahman is in line to make a comeback at the expense of Hardus Viljoen while Ankit Rajpoot could slot in for Varun Chakravarthi. The batting unit looks in good touch although they will be concerned over KL Rahul's form.
On a good batting surface on offer in Mohali, much is expected of Gayle and Rahul at the top of the order.
Possible XI: Rahul(WK), Gayle, Agarwal, Sarfaraz, Mandeep, Miller, Ashwin(C), Viljoen/Mujeeb, Shami, Tye and Varun/Ankit.
No changes are expected from the Mumbai Indians after a brilliant show in Bangalore. One concern with the Mumbai batting would be the inability of their batsmen to convert their starts into a fifty or more in their previous games. While this did not hinder their victory against RCB, it could be pivotal in run-fest at Mohali.
Possible XI: Rohit(C), de Kock(WK), Yuvraj, Surya, Pollard, Krunal, Hardik, Malinga, McClenaghan, Markande and Bumrah

Fantasy Tips and Suggestions
Wicket-keeper: Both KL Rahul and Quinton de Kock are proven performers in the IPL and are quite capable of inflicting damage at the top of the order. Inspite of his incredible form for South Africa, Quinton de Kock should be overlooked for the elegance of KL Rahul, who is bound to come good on Saturday.
Batsmen: Rohit Sharma looks in good touch and will be relishing a return to Mohali, the venue where he recently scored a hundred in the ODI series against Australia. Along with him, the likes of Chris Gayle, Mayank Agarwal and Suryakumar Yadav are decent options to have in your fantasy team with all of them showing promise in the previous games.
All-rounders: The Pandya Brothers are handy with both bat and ball and are also capable of insane pieces of fielding, making them invaluable picks to any fantasy side. Ravi Ashwin is also a good selection with his clever variations
Bowlers: Jasprit Bumrah and Mayank Markande are must-haves in the side while the likes of Mujeeb, Shami and McClenaghan are also able wicket-takers worth picking for this high-scoring game. Andrew Tye can be lethal in the death overs and could be a viable selection as well.
Captain: KL Rahul has a good record at Mohali and should be backed to bounce back to run-scoring form while Rohit Sharma and Krunal Pandya are also viable options for captaincy.
