Bangla Tigers won by 30 runs.
Player of the match: Hazratullah Zazai
That's all we have from this game then. There's another fascinating T10 contest coming up as the top-two sides go head to head to battle it out for the top spot. Just switch tabs to catch all the action from that one. Until then, this is Pratyush and Abhishek, signing off. See you around!

Faf du Plessis:
It was a really good innings from Zazai. It's tough to turn it around in T10 when you are struggling. He did extremely well. We have played a lot of cricket in a short time. Picking the team for the knockouts will be quite tricky as we have rotated quite a bit.

Hazratullah Zazai (Player of the match): The wicket was slightly two-faced. The ball wasn't coming onto the bat. So, the plan was to bat long and cash it in the end. It was tough in the start as the ball was stopping. Did well eventually. We want to go all the way in the tournament.
Chasing a target of 120 runs from 10 overs, it seemed easy pickings for the Northern Warriors at the beginning. With firepower in the form of Moeen Ali, Kennar Lewis, and Rovman Powell, much better was expected from the team batting second.

However, all their plans went into disarray as the openers Ali and Lewis got out in single digits. After hitting his first six, Rovman Powell played his calypso flicks straight to the fielder at square leg fielder and it brought an end to his innings as well.

Samit Patel failed to get his bat back in time as he got run out at 15 while a sensational catch by Will Jacks at long on departed Ross Whiteley for just 11 runs. Umair Ali came out to score 39 runs in just 16 balls, hitting three 4's and three 6's in his innings, but it proved to be too little too late.

From the bowling end, spinner Tom Hartley was economical as he conceded only 12 runs and scalped two wickets. He might get a spot in the playoffs after his spell with the ball tonight.

James Faulkner and Luke Fletcher picked up a wicket apiece while Isuru Udana and Benny Howell drew blanks.

This will be all from Northern Warriors as their campaign comes to an end while the Bangla Tigers will be gearing up to face the Eliminator.
Fletcher and Bangla Tigers won't mind that FOUR as Bangla Tigers win the match by 30 runs in a slow, turning pitch, successfully defending the target of 120 runs.

9.6 Luke Fletcher to Umair Ali, FOUR! It doesn't matter. Tigers win by 30 runs. Low full toss outside off-stump, Ali clears his front foot to loft this over mid-off to find the ropes. So, the Tigers head into the playoffs after a convincing victory. As for the Warriors, they bow out a tournament with another disappointing loss. That will be that then. Stay tuned for the presentations.
9.5 Luke Fletcher to Rayad Emrit, DROPPED A DOLLY! Back of a length delivery angling into Emrit, mistimes his pull towards deep mid-wicket for an absolute soda but Smeed puts it down.
9.4 Luke Fletcher to Umair Ali, back of a length delivery angling into Ali, pulls it firmly to deep square leg, trots over for a single
9.3 Luke Fletcher to Umair Ali, back of a length delivery on the fourth stump line, Ali tried to steer it past short third man, can't get bat on ball, no run
9.2 Luke Fletcher to Umair Ali, IN THE AIR.... SAFE! Full delivery on the off-stump line, Ali cleanly lofts back over the bowler's head with a straight bat, drops safely in the long-off region for two
9.1 Luke Fletcher to Rayad Emrit, nails the yorker angling into leg-stump, Emrit clips it down to long-on for a single
Luke Fletcher to bowl the last over of the game.
A boundary to end the over but Northern Warriors are mathematically out from this game as they need 40 runs to win from the last 6 deliveries.

8.6 Isuru Udana to Umair Ali, FOUR! Low full toss outside off-stump, easy pickings for Ali as he drills his drive through extra cover to give long-off no chance of stopping that one
8.5 Isuru Udana to Umair Ali, full delivery on the off-stump line, Ali stays deep in his crease to slice this over point for a couple in the deep
Rayad Emrit is the next batsman on the crease.
RUN OUT from the overthrow but I think Mithun has done his part as Umair Ali crossed over. Northern Warriors need 46 runs to win from 8 balls as the Bangla Tigers fielding coach claps praising that effort from the dugout.
8.4 Isuru Udana to Abhimanyu Mithun, RUNOUT! Comedy of errors results in a wicket. Another cracking yorker on the off-stump line, beats the batter as he tries to sneak a bye. The keeper is clever as he throws it to the bowler to prevent the single but a misfield from Udana allows the two batters to get through. Well, almost. Only until Udana cleans up and gets the direct-hit at the non-striker's end eventually.

Abhimanyu Mithun run out (Isuru Udana) 1 (2b 0x4 0x6)
8.3 Isuru Udana to Umair Ali, nails the yorker on the off-stump line, Ali can only dig it out to point for a single
Umair Ali picks the slower balls nicely. In the previous over, he anticipated Faulkner's variation and this time he dispatches Udana over the midwicket region.
