It was recently revealed that a storyline between Mustafa Ali and Seth Rollins was nixed after the latter's popularity with the audience soared to great heights. However, Ali has not ruled out a match between the two down the line.

Speaking to Metro.co.uk, The 37-year-old expressed his desire to go after the new belt in case The Visionary wins it.

"Maybe the opportunity to compete with him will come again. Maybe he becomes the new World Heavyweight Champion and I take that off of him? See! You've gotta think Positive-Ali!"

Mustafa Ali won the battle royal on this week's RAW to earn an opportunity for the Intercontinental Championship in Saudi Arabia. He will face The Ring General at Night of Champions.

Legend wants Randy Orton to face Gunther in his retirement match

Randy Orton's WWE status is up as the megastar is still out of action due to a back injury. There is a strong possibility that the Apex Predator could end up hanging his boots as he is advised so by his doctors.

During a recent edition of Sportskeeda Wrestling's The Wrestling Time Machine, host Mac Davis asked Bill Apter and Teddy Long to pick their dream final opponents for Randy Orton where the former chose Gunther.

"Gunther. Tough, but Randy, if he's okay, Randy is as tough as Gunther," said Bill Apter.

Teddy Long wants Randy Orton to face Brock Lesnar in his final match

While Bill Apter may have gone for Gunther to be the one to retire Randy Orton, Teddy Long expressed his desire to see the Apex Predator face Brock Lesnar in his final bout.

The two former WWE Champions have no shortage of history inside the squared circle. They had an epic match at SummerSlam 2016 which ended on a controversial note after The Beast Incarnate busted Orton open.
