WWE Monday Night Raw Preview : 10 November, 2014

WWE’s latest edition of Survivor Series is just around the corner and there is still a lot work left for the creative team ahead of the November fiesta.Giving away the Network for free is going to attract a lot of fans and the pay-per-view will be apparently WWE’s chance to show that the price of $9.99 is actually worth it.So far, it’s the Team Authority vs. Team Cena showdown that has hyped the show and WWE will be looking to add more reasons this week on Raw.This will also be WWE’s first Raw in the United Kingdom in a long time and here is a look at what all the fans could expect from Vince McMahon and his writers when the promotion brings its flagship show from across the river.

#5 Notable absentees

Last week, John Cena didn’t make it to television even though he was in the arena. The fans barely noticed the absence and WWE even offered refunds to everyone who came to see the Cenation leader.

The situation this week would apparently be worse. Due to touring conflicts, the lights of Bray Wyatt, Dean Ambrose, Kane, Dolph Ziggler and Cesaro is supposed to miss Raw this week while Cena, Rollins and Big Show is likely to miss SmackDown.

If that is the case, then WWE will have a lot of ground to make up especially in a hostile situation where the Liverpool fans are looking for a small mistake to tear apart everything (will get to that soon).

Unlike last week, the absence of all the above mentioned names will be a big blow and there should be something spectacular to overshadow this.

#4 The new champ is here

Rusev made history when he defeated Sheamus after last week’s Raw and became the United States Champion. It was the first title change that happened in the WWE Network and has given Rusev a lost of momentum.

His Anti-American gimmick is going to reach a whole different level with the United States title around his waist and the promos from Lana would deliver more sting than usual.

There will possibly be a celebration from Rusev this week on Raw and Sheamus would be more than happy to ruin it.

Also with Stephanie McMahon interested in getting Rusev into Team Authority we might see a lot of developments taking place with Rusev as the protagonist.

#3 Wrath of the UK fans

The fans in Liverpool have distinguished themselves as one of the most decorated crowds in the WWE Universe. They know how to make a success story out of the show and also know how to ruin it.

This week the company would have to be worried about their latter quality. Having a big delay in the launch of WWE Network in the United Kingdom was not met with smiling faces from the fans and the company is sure to feel the heat throughout the show.

There could be a hostile takeover through chants even if WWE provides a good quality show and this would go down as a big headache.

One encouraging thing, however, for the company is that the show will be telecasted with a delay meaning that they could edit out the portions where the crowd revolted.

#2 Authority continues their scouting

With Vince McMahon adding the new stipulation to the Survivor Series main event, Hunter and Stephanie McMahon are on a talent hunt to make their team the best.

The team currently has Seth Rollins and Kane while the third member Randy Orton will not be making it after what went down on Raw. This leaves three places to fill for the Authority and they’ve been scouting at all the right places.

First Stephanie wanted Mark Henry in the team after his destruction of Big Show while Rusev and Ryback got their attention afterwards.

There are possibilities of new superstars making the cut as well and Monday night Raw would provide a much better idea about the scenario.

#1 Cena Ryback Showdown

WWE has announce a match between John Cena and Ryback as the main event of this week’s Raw and from the looks of it, this is the Authority’s idea of recruiting Ryback into their team for Survivor Series and this opens up a compelling segment.

Ever since his return to the WWE programming, Ryback has been a face character with almost all his opponents being heel.

The reaction he got from the crowd is also a good sign for his babyface run which makes this match an awkward situation. If WWE wants to turn Ryback it would be a big botch after what he has achieved.

The other possibility is more exciting as the fans could see Ryback joining hands with Cena and be the third member in his team.
