The swimming events got underway at the World Aquatics Championships 2024 on February 11 and will continue until February 18 in Doha, Qatar.

Day 3 (February 13) of the 21st edition of the World Aquatics Championships saw the swimmers competing in various disciplines like men’s 50m breaststroke, 200m butterfly, 800m freestyle, 200m freestyle, 100m backstroke, women’s 200m freestyle, 1500m freestyle, and 100m breaststroke.

Claire Curzan, Tang Qianting, Simona Quadarella, Hunter Armstrong, and Hwang Sun-woo were the swimmers to clinch the titles in the women’s 100m backstroke, 100m breaststroke, 1500m freestyle, men’s 100m backstroke, and 200m freestyle, respectively, on Day 3 of the World Aquatics Championships 2024.

Day 4 of Swimming (February 14) at the World Aquatics Championships 2024 will witness the swimmers participating in the heats of the women’s 50m backstroke, 200m butterfly, men’s 100m freestyle, and 200m individual medley. This will be followed by the semi-finals of these disciplines in the evening.

Meanwhile, swimmers from Day 3 of the World Aquatics Championships 2024 will also be in action as the men’s 50m breaststroke, 800m freestyle, 200m butterfly, and women’s 200m freestyle finals, are also scheduled to be held. In addition, the mixed 4x100m medley relay is one of the events to watch out for in team events.

Some prominent swimmers who will be competing for top honors on Day 4 of the Swimming events at the World Aquatics Championships 2024 are Nic Fink, Adam Peaty, Gregorio Paltrinieri, Elijah Winnington, Li Bingjie, Siobhan Haughey, and Nicolo Martinenghi.
