Will The Rock play a part in the family drama?

While WWE's overall product lacks consistency, Roman Reigns and The Usos have constantly knocked it out of the park. The drama grows each week and fans eagerly wait to see what will happen next.

Ever since Jimmy Uso returned from injury, trouble has been brewing in The Bloodline. He and Reigns seemed to be on two completely different wavelengths, with Jey caught in the middle. However, Jimmy may have finally acknowledged The Tribal Chief on tonight's episode of SmackDown.

He posed with the Universal Champion after his dominant victory over Rey Mysterio inside Hell in a Cell. Meanwhile, his brother was nowhere to be seen. As WWE prepares for the return of live crowds next month, a couple of swerves may transpire between Roman Reigns and The Usos.

Will Jimmy Uso turn heel? What role will Jey Uso play? How will this saga end? The possibilities are endless, as we take a look at them from multiple different angles.

This list will focus on a few possible twists in the Roman Reigns-Usos Bloodline story, notwithstanding the talk of The Tribal Chief turning face.

#5 Jimmy Uso aligns with Roman Reigns

Jey Uso's absence from SmackDown was pretty interesting, especially considering how he stormed out last week.

Tonight's developments leave Jey's role in doubt. Could Jimmy have usurped his brother as Reigns' right-hand man? The Tribal Chief was upset at his no-show, which may lead to him getting kicked out of The Bloodline.

The Usos have never been in conflict among themselves in WWE until recently. The subtle tension between them could blow up into a personal rivalry, with Jimmy betraying Jey just to appease The Tribal Chief.

Roman Reigns could manipulate Jimmy Uso into getting rid of his brother, who may be referred to as a liability. This, in turn, could lead to a retread of Jey Uso's incredible run as a singles babyface from last fall.

#4 The Usos break away from Roman Reigns

Jimmy Uso's current stance alongside Roman Reigns may be temporary, especially with his brother not appearing on SmackDown. Has Jey Uso taken leave to introspect? Will he return as a babyface?

This is what is so fascinating about the Bloodline saga on the blue brand. Weekly developments can change the entire complexion. Jimmy and Jey may have hatched together a plan to break free from Roman Reigns which could culminate over the summer.

The Tribal Chief might become the victim of a coup with Jimmy Uso bluffing his allegiance to him. The six-time WWE Tag Team Champion may have convinced his brother to go AWOL for a week or two before returning as a babyface.

And just like that, Jimmy could turn on Reigns to reunite with Jey as part of a babyface tag team. The Usos can represent their family independent of the Universal Champion, although keeping the three linked together is a more exciting prospect. At least one Uso should remain by Roman Reigns' corner at all times.

#3 Naomi joins her husband alongside Roman Reigns

If Jimmy Uso remains a heel, WWE could make things interesting by adding a member to the Bloodline group. A cross-division expansion, especially if a talent like Naomi is involved, could really light things up.

Naomi is married to Jimmy, which may potentially see her turn heel as well. She has been doing next to nothing on RAW and could do with a character boost. She could win the Money in the Bank Ladder Match and move to SmackDown in the potential post-SummerSlam WWE Draft.

Over on the blue brand, the former SmackDown Women's Champion could reclaim the title under the command of Roman Reigns. The Tribal Chief corrupting Naomi is an intriguing prospect, simply because of Jimmy Uso's reaction to the ordeal.

In this scenario, she would cash in on Bianca Belair to win the SmackDown Women's Title. With Roman Reigns as Universal Champion, The Usos as Tag Team Champions, and Naomi as Women's Champion, The Bloodline may become as dominant as ever on the blue brand.

#2 Jimmy Uso wins the Universal Championship from Roman Reigns

It may seem incredibly far-fetched, but Jimmy Uso could be the one to do what nobody has managed to do in over 292 days: defeat Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship.

WWE can eventually tell a spectacular story between the two cousins. Jimmy's supposed allegiance to Reigns might be a massive ruse as part of a long-term plan. He can prove himself as a singles star and possibly even win the Money in the Bank Ladder Match, while promising to cash in on the WWE Champion.

Right now, there doesn't seem any opponent likely to dethrone Roman Reigns. This gives WWE the license to get creative and truly shock fans. If Jimmy Uso does claim the Money in the Bank briefcase, his eventual cash-in would be a piece of art.

Seeing Roman Reigns get completely played by his younger cousin would feel so sweet. It obviously will take a lot of work to make it believable. But with the right backing, Jimmy Uso might just be the next Universal Champion.

#1 The Rock challenges Roman Reigns to find out who really is the Head of the Table

The Rock's possible return to the ring would be the ultimate conclusion to an enthralling Bloodline story. Jimmy and Jey may be on different sides, in the corner of either superstar.

Roman Reigns vs. The Rock is the biggest match WWE can book in the modern era, pitting the two biggest stars of the Samoan dynasty against each other. Who is the real Head of the Table?

The build may begin as early as Survivor Series, with The Rock possibly making his WWE return. It will mark his 25th anniversary at the company, and a potential celebration could be ruined by Roman Reigns. Then, the Great One could challenge him to a match at WrestleMania.

The Usos need not play too much of a part in the match, as the two megastars can create magic in the ring. Of course, it would be The Tribal Chief who stands tall over the Hollywood icon.

Following this, The Rock follows in the footsteps of every member of the Ano'ai family to acknowledge Reigns as the only Head of the Table. It would be a fitting finale to the most compelling story currently.
