It’s hard to fathom that we’re just a week away from the next PPV, the Night of Champions. At SummerSlam, the landscape of the WWE changed, as Randy Orton won the WWE championship thanks to Triple H, who turned on the WWE fans and Daniel Bryan. With Bryan using his rematch clause for a shot at the WWE championship, he will be facing Randy Orton in just six days. Also, there is a new number one contender for the World Heavyweight championship, as Rob Van Dam and Ricardo look to dethrone Alberto Del Rio as the World Heavyweight champion.

There are a lot of interesting match ups set for the PPV, but before we head to the Night of Champions, we head to Toronto, Ontario Canada for the final stop, which is this week’s RAW. There are a lot of interesting segments which have been announced, as old WWE superstars are set to return for one night. So what can we expect from this week’s show? Let’s find out.

Paul Heyman’s message to CM Punk

At the Night of Champions PPV, Paul Heyman will team up with the WWE Intercontinental champion Curtis Axel to take on CM Punk in a 2 on 1 handicap match, with the stipulation that Punk will face Heyman if he eliminates Axel, and if Heyman tries to run away, he’ll be fired. Last week, Punk sent a message to Paul Heyman, warning him that he will rip him apart this Sunday. How will Paul Heyman respond to CM Punk’s threat? Does he have something up his sleeve? What will happen this week between the former best friends? We can only wait and watch as this week’s show rolls out of Toronto, Canada.

Big Show’s change of heart?

A few days ago during a house show, Big Show finally snapped and took his frustrations out on the members of The Shield, spearing Reigns and destroying the other members present in the ring. Last week, Big Show was humiliated by Stephanie McMahon, and in the end, was forced to face Daniel Bryan. Show was made to knock Daniel Bryan out, which led to the giant breaking down into tears. What will Big Show do this week? Show has no other alternative but to listen to what the McMahons tell him, and with Show finally snapping at a house show, will he continue to attack the members of the Corporation this week? Or is it just a one – time thing? We’ll find out on this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW.

Daniel Bryan’s last chance to get even

We’re just days away from the next PPV, and in the past three weeks, the show ended with Randy Orton standing tall over a fallen Daniel Bryan. Whether it was The Shield or the Big Show, Orton received help from the Corporation in sending a strong message to Daniel Bryan over the past few weeks. With the time for talks now over, Bryan would look to send his own message to the current WWE champion this week. What will the bearded warrior do to get his hands on Orton? Will he succeed in showing the Corporation that he can handle them alone? Or will he once again fall victim to an attack by the likes of Orton and The Shield? We’ll get all our answers on this week’s episode of RAW.

The Rated R return!

Since this week’s RAW will roll out of Toronto, the hometown kid, Edge will be present for this week’s show. With Edge returning for one night in his hometown, the excitement is at an all time high, and the WWE Universe will once again hear the all too familiar music of Edge! What does the Rated R Superstar have in his mind? Will he confront any of the current superstars? Will he raise his voice against Triple H and the powers that be in the WWE? There are a lot of possibilities with Edge’s return for the night, and we’ll have to see which route the WWE takes. Rest assured this will be a must-see episode of RAW!

Orton faces the golden one

The other superstar who will make his return this week is none other than the most bizarre individual in the WWE history, Goldust. With Goldust’s brother Cody Rhodes getting fired last week, Goldust challenged Orton for a match, with the stipulation that if Goldust wins, Cody Rhodes will be reinstated in the WWE. With Orton accepting the golden one’s challenge, will Goldust defy the odds and beat the current WWE champion? Or will he too fall victim to the Corporation like his brother did last week? We’ll find out on tonight’s episode of Monday Night RAW!
