Victor Moritz "Mo" Wagner is a German center/power forward who plays for the Orlando Magic in the NBA. Born on April 26, 1997, in Berlin, Germany, Wagner began his basketball journey in the youth ranks of Alba Berlin.

During the 2013/14 season, Wagner played for the club's under-19 Bundesliga squad, which clinched the German championship. His talent was then spotted by NCAA coaches, and he eventually decided to pursue his basketball career in the United States, and enrolled at University of Michigan.

Wagner had an outstanding career with the Michigan Wolverines, becoming a fan favorite and leading the team to the championship game in 2018, where they suffered a heartbreaking loss in a buzzer-beater finish.

In the 2018 NBA Draft, Wagner was selected with the 25th overall pick by the LA Lakers. Since joining the NBA, he has established himself as a forward who can shoot, along with a fundamentally polished offensive game.

Throughout his NBA career, Wagner has had stints with several teams, including the LA Lakers (2018-2019), Washington Wizards (2019-2021), Boston Celtics (2021), and now the Orlando Magic.

Interestingly, his younger brother Franz Wagner also plays for the Magic, adding a familial connection to the team's roster. Internationally, Wagner plays for the German men’s national basketball team and was a crucial part of the team that won the FIBA Basketball World Cup in 2023.
