GTA Online Ghost Locations: All 10 areas that players must check

The Ghosts Exposed ghost hunt is presently one of the most popular freemode events in GTA Online. Rockstar Games added it on October 12, 2023, as part of the Halloween update. It is a collectible mission where you must find and photograph various ghosts at night. The event features 10 ghosts in different locations with their own spawn timings.

However, unlike other collectible items, the ghosts do not disclose their locations on the mini-map. Thus, finding them can be challenging, as players must also keep an eye on the in-game clock.

To make things easier, this article lists all 10 locations where you can find ghosts in the GTA Online Ghosts Exposed event.

Where to find all 10 ghosts in GTA Online Ghosts Exposed Halloween event

Before starting, one must note that you can only find nine ghosts in a single night. The tenth ghost only appears after you’ve found and photographed the other ones. However, its spawn timing is much earlier than the ninth ghost, forcing GTA Online players to wait for the next night.

All ghosts appear in a chronological sequence. Therefore, you must follow a route and track the time while searching for the first nine ghosts in one go. The following screenshots from a guide video by YouTuber GTA Series Videos should help you find the ghosts.

As seen in the image above, Rockstar Games added specific timings for each ghost to spawn. Players must be aware that an in-game hour is approximately two minutes in real life. Furthermore, each area has two possible spots where the ghost can appear.

Once you find them all, the Ghost of Jhonny Klebitz will spawn between 12 am and 1 am at the exact spot where Trevor killed him in Grand Theft Auto 5.
