Messi to stay at Barcelona

- Former Real Madrid fullback Roberto Carlos has said that it is possible that Neymar might make a move from Barcelona to Real Madrid. Los Blancos president Florentino Perez is believed to be an admirer of the flamboyant winger and wants him at Santiago Bernabeu.

"Neymar is very young," Carlos told Punto Pelota. "I am sure next year he will finish even higher in the Ballon d'Or. I can see one day Neymar coming to Real Madrid."

- Barcelona boss Luis Enrique is willing to bring Mario Suarez back to Barcelona, Goal reports.

The winger joined Villareal during last summer’s transfer window on a four-year deal. However, Enrique wants the 22-year-old back at Camp Nou and has supposedly contacted the player to register his interest.

- Lionel Messi has squashed all the rumours which said that the Argentine talisman might make a move to the Premier League. The Barcelona forward, who won his fifth Ballon D’Or award in Zurich, said that he will never leave the Catalan club. The 28-year-old was rumoured to be a transfer target for Manchester City.

"I've always said that I can't leave Barcelona. It's always my response. I want to finish my career at home and my home is Barcelona. Football changes so much. A year ago, we were all getting criticised and we ended up winning nearly everything. My intention is to terminate my career where it started, in Barcelona.

"I want to keep succeeding with the club. Now is not the time to think about whether this is my peak. It's more important that we keep trying to win, that we work hard. It's a lot to think about."
