As of 2022, Charli D’Amelio is dating no one and she is reportedly single. She has previously dated Chase Hudson, also known as Lil Huddy on TikTok. Both of them were members of The Hype House between 2019 and 2020.
Charli D’Amelio (b. May 1, 2004) rose to fame in 2019 when she started posting on TikTok. She posted lip-sync videos, dance challenges as well as very random videos with other creators. She is the first person to hit both 50 and 100 million followers on TikTok. She is currently the most followed TikToker with 143 million followers, as of 2022.

Charli and Chase were first linked together in 2019 when they joined the Hype House. The two were spotted going to places in Los Angeles together and held hands very often, according to gossip sources.
In January 2020, the rumors and speculation grew when Hudson and Charli were spotted enjoying a vacation together in Hawai’i, posting pictures of them together on social media.
In February 2020, during an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Chase revealed that their dating was “very exclusive.”
“We really like each other, we just don’t wanna put a label on it yet. I told her I wanna take my time and make sure everything’s right for me before I make it official,” he said, before revealing that they didn’t confess their love for each other, and would like to proceed at the current time. He said, “I’m taking it as slow as humanly possible before I pop the question. But we are very exclusive and very into each other.”
In March 2020, while the pair was supposedly still going strong, Chase was accused of cheating on Charli, and fans started speculating that they might have split up. This was because Bryce Hall and Josh Richards had put out a diss track called “Still Softish”, where they made the cheating accusations.
A week after the release of the song, Charli seemingly hinted at their split via Twitter, where she reposted some tweets from an account called @BreakUpQuotes. Her followers assumed that these quotes were cryptic messages directed toward Chase:
In April 2020, Chase addressed the infidelity rumors and stood firm on his stance that he was innocent of the allegations. However, Sway House members were still adamant that he was lying, eventually starting a fight between the two collectibles on social media, until Charli’s mother Heidi stepped in and supported Chase’s stance.
On April 14, 2020, the couple announced that they had split and asked for privacy from fans during that time. However, Bryce Hall was not convinced, and he continued to tell fans that Chase was not a good boyfriend. Through May and June 2020, Chase continued to hang out with Charli, saying that they are friends, however, fans still speculated that they were in a relationship.
In July 2020, Charli unfollowed both Chase and Nessa Barrett and tweeted “I hope she was worth it”, implying that Chase had cheated on Charli with Nessa. This tweet has now been deleted.
In response, Chase took to social media and in a since-deleted post, he said, “All of this drama is going on because I kissed Nessa when we were both single.” Charli quote-tweeted his post about the kiss and added, “Then you shouldn’t have come to my house after without telling me.” Chase then proceeded to “expose” the drama and gossip pertaining to his fellow TikTokers, through a notes app page and it went viral.
And it was not the end.
Charli was quick to call him out via Twitter, saying “Stop deflecting your actions onto others because you can’t take responsibility Chase. Want me to talk about how you treated me throughout our relationship or do you just want to continue to play the victim?”
On July 8, 2020, Charli held a teary Instagram live stream, where she said that she and Chase had a long chat with each other, and said that they were “not right for each other”.
In April 2021, Chase released a single called “America’s sweetheart”, which he confirmed was about Charli. Charli starred in the music video for the same. Both of them have taken to social media talking about this song, saying it was a form of ‘catharsis” and was about the time right after they had broken up, amid the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.

Over the months, Chase and Charli continued to appear in each other’s social media posts, going out to places together, and going to official events together. By this time, it was pretty clear that they had nothing romantic going on between them. As of 2022, they are still friends, though they no longer follow each other on social media.
Charli and her family were on a trip to Italy, which was crashed by Chase Hudson in October 2021.
