That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 3 episode 4 was released on April 26, 2024, at 11 pm JST on Nippon Television's Friday Anime Night time slot. The latest installment continued Rimur Tempest's meeting, where he received the reports of Diablo and others. Additionally, he assigned various tasks to his friends.

Much like the previous installments, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 3 episode 4 focused heavily on world-building rather than action. The episode also revealed interesting facts regarding Vesta and Kaijin's invention.

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 3 episode 4 highlights: Vesta and Kaijin's latest invention revealed

Picking up the events from the previous episode, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 3 episode 4 opens with Rimuru Tempest asking his friends whether there have been any changes to the Jura Tempest's monster ecosystem.

Souei reveals that although a Sword Grizzly caused havoc in the forest, he took care of it. According to That Time I Reincarnated as a Slime season 3 episode 4, Sword Grizzly is similar to a Knight Spider, that is, equivalent to an A-minus rank.

Rimuru feels that the emerging monsters in the nation may become a problem. As such, Vesta suggests placing the Anti-Magic Barrier over the highways. When Rimuru enquires about it, Kaijin says that they have managed to build a fully automatic magic generator that can produce a barrier.

According to That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 3 episode 4, Vesta and Kaijin's Anti-Magic Barrier acts as a Rune magic. It automatically collects magicules from the air and utilizes it to create a barrier.

Considering the Monster nation has a high density of magicule, it's the perfect invention, as Rimuru feels. Besides that, Vesta reveals that they can use the device to activate different kinds of magic.

He also suggests installing the devices across the highways, which will activate the barrier. With immense magicule density in the air, there's no need to replace the device's fuel. All they have to do is to ensure the machine is working fine.

Veldora feels he can finally let out his aura (magicule). However, Rimuru forbids him because his aura can kill the entire nation.

Diablo then explains to Rimuru that while he (Rimuru) can sustain his aura, for beings such as Veldora and Benimaru, it's important to let it out. The slime delves into a thought and tells Veldora that he will think about it later. Till then, he requests him to keep it in check.

Rimuru hands over an essential job to Geld and receives more reports from Diablo

After inspecting the Ant-Magic Barrier, Rimuru returns to his mansion and continues his meeting. That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 3 episode 4 shows Rimuru Tempest assigning Geld the job of constructing Milim's castle. He believes that Geld is the perfect person for the job.

Although the Orc gets overwhelmed, he thanks Rimuru for the opportunity to let him work on a large-scale project. Kaijin also assures Rimuru that he will provide the orc with all the backup he needs.

Following that in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 3 episode 4, Rimuru asks Diablo for his report. The demon butler reveals that since negotiating directly with the royalty will pose a challenge for Youm, the former king of Falmuth, Edmaris, is teaching him the necessary etiquette and manners.

According to Diablo, his men took the Archbishop to the Engrassia Capital with Rimuru's message, from where he used a special transport gate to directly teleport to the Lubelius. When Rimuru worries about the man's life, Diablo assures the slime that Reyhiem is alive.

Soei then tells Rimuru Tempest that although he could infiltrate Lubelius, it wouldn't be a sound idea. The slime seconds his opinion, considering there's Hinata Sakaguchi.

Rimuru Tempest connects the dots and figures out the involvement of more than one "mastermind"

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 3 episode 4 continues Rimuru's discussion regarding Hinata's actual motive. Although the slime wants a peaceful co-existence between the Monster nation and Lubelius, he knows that Hinata won't accept it, since it goes against her ideals.

Shuna then reminds Rimuru about Clayman hinting at the presence of a mastermind. Others feel that they need to be wary of the said person. Rimuru then wonders whether or not Hinata attacked him of her own volition.

After a brainstorming session with his friends, he realizes that there may be more than one mastermind involved. That said, he feels that the chances of the masterminds coming after him might be low.

With all said and done, Rimuru finds it difficult to base everything on an assumption. As such, Diablo tells him that he will probe into the matter. He also informs Rimuru that a merchant provided Edmaris and his ministers with the essential information.

This leads the slime to speculate that some merchants are probably working behind the scenes to earn profit. That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 3 episode 4 then shows Rimuru Tempest assigning his friends various tasks.

He asks Shuna to examine the account books they recovered from Clayman's castle and check which merchants frequently visited. Diablo gets assigned the job of pinning down every merchant Falmuth has ties with.

Rimuru also jokingly requests Veldora to stay out of everyone's way. That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 3 episode 4 ends with a scene from the Holy Kingdom of Lubelius, where Hinata holds an important meeting with her followers.
