Alejandro “Alex” Abrines Redondo is a Spanish basketball player. He is now playing in the Forward position for FC Barcelona Basquet in Liga ACB and the EuroLeague. However, he has also played for the Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA.
Alex Abrines was born on August, 1993 in Palma, Spain. He played basketball in Spain before coming to the United States to play for the NBA. He made his NBA debut for the Oklahoma City Thunder on October 26, 2016. He however, returned to WEurope to play basketball there. He has gained several achievements like being a 2 times Spanish League Champion in 2014 and 2021.
Additionally, he is also a 3-times Spanish Cup winner in 2013, 2019 and 2022. He received the EuroLeague Rising Star Award in 2016.
