Kevin Joseph Huerter is an American shooting guard/small forward for the Sacramento Kings in the National Basketball Association (NBA).

Nicknamed "Red Velvet,” Huerter was born August 27, 1998, in Albany, New York, U.S. He attended Shenendehowa High School in Clifton Park, where he led his team to the state championship, their second in total. He was named Mr. New York Basketball in 2016. Huerter was considered a four-star recruit and was ranked the No. 50 overall recruit in the 2016 high school class.

For college, Huerter attended the University of Maryland, where he averaged 12.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game in two seasons. He was an honorable mention All-Big Ten at the end of the season.

Huerter was selected by the Atlanta Hawks with the 19th overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft. He signed a four-year $65 million rookie contract extension with the Hawks on October 18, 2021, but moved to the Sacramento Kings on July 6, 2022. He made his Kings debut on October 19 against the Portland Trail Blazers.
