Damian Lillard's Family

Damian "Dame Time" Lillard, is an American professional basketball player and as of 2024, he is playing for the Milwaukee Bucks. He was traded in a three-team trade involving the Portland Trail Blazers, Bucks, and Phoenix Suns. Lillard was originally drafted by the Blazers as the sixth pick in the first round of the 2012 NBA Draft. He was selected as the 2012–13 NBA Rookie of the Year. In 2012, while playing college basketball for the Weber State Wildcats, he was selected to the third team of the All-American team.

As of 2024, Lillard has been chosen for the All-NBA Teams seven times, and the NBA All-Star team eight times. In 2021, he competed for the United States in the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics and won a gold medal. In the same year, he was named to the NBA's 75th Anniversary Team.

Damian Lillard's family includes three children: Damian Jr., twins Kalii Laheem Lillard and Kali Emma Lillard, his parents Houston Lillard Sr. and Gina Johnson, and his siblings Houston Jr. and LaNae. He filed for divorce from ex-wife Kay'la Hanson in October 2023, after marrying her in September 2021 and a decade-long relationship, as per the People.

As per the People magazine, on March 29, 2018, Lillard and Hanson welcomed Damian Jr., their first child. The couple revealed they were expecting twins two years later. The twins were born on January 21, 2021. On Instagram, Lillard shared the news of the birth of his daughter, Kali, and son, Kalii, with a comment elaborating on their names. "Kali Emma Lee Lillard (Callie...girl) and Kalii Laheem Lillard (Kuh-lee...boy)."

Damian Lillard's parents are Houston Lillard Sr. and Gina Johnson, as per his Team USA bio. However, no further professional or personal information is available about them. After coaching Randy Rahe, a former Weber State men's basketball coach, made a direct recruiting approach to Lillard, Damian spoke with his father, according to Andscape. Lillard said,

“My pops told me, ‘They are real people. But don’t make a decision for me or anyone else. You have to live with the decision and don’t feel like you have to make anyone happy with the decision'". “I said, ‘I think I want to do it.’

Damian Lillard's siblings

Lillard's Team USA bio states that he has a sister named LaNae and a brother named Houston who played football at the junior college level at Laney College. Also, Southeast Missouri State offered Houston a football scholarship. There isn't any further information on them, though.
