Nurse, 55 is known for his in-game coaching and creative teaching style. In the five seasons with the Raptors, he had a 227-163 record during the regular season and a 25-16 in the playoffs, with a winning percentage of 53.2%.

The most impactful and productive season for Nurse was the 2018-19 season where he assisted the Raptors to win their first franchise title as well as also became the Coach of the Year for that year.
