Tari Jordan Eason is an American basketball power forward for the Houston Rockets in the 2025 NBA season. The Rockets drafted Eason as the 17th overall pick in the first round of the 2022 NBA Draft. After two seasons of development, the 2024–25 season has been a breakout year. Eason is averaging a career-high 12.0 points, 6.4 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.7 steals per game, as per Basketball Reference.

Born on May 10, 2001, in Portsmouth, Virginia, Eason started high school basketball at Garfield High School in Seattle. He later transferred to Federal Way High School, where he played alongside Jaden McDaniels, but he returned to Garfield for his senior year. Eason led Garfield to a 3A state title, winning the tournament MVP by beating O'Dea High, led by Paolo Banchero. Tari Eason then played collegiate basketball at Cincinnati in 2020–2021 and made the AAC All-Freshman Team. He transferred to LSU for his sophomore season, where he averaged 16.9 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 1.9 steals per game. He was named to the First Team All-SEC and SEC Sixth Man of the Year in 2022, as per LSU's official website.
