Ezekiel Tobechukwu "Zeke" Nnaji, a basketball power forward for the Denver Nuggets, was born on January 9, 2001. Most other recruiting agencies rated him as a four-star recruit, while Rivals classified him as a five-star recruit and 22nd in his class.

Nnaji turned down offers from Kansas, Kentucky, North Carolina, and UCLA to play college basketball for the Arizona Wildcats. He made his college debut in November 2019, helping Arizona defeat Northern Arizona 91-52 with 20 points in 21 minutes. He became the first player from Arizona to score 20 points and pull down 10 rebounds in his first three games since Brandon Ashley did so during the 2012–13 season against Long Beach State. He was voted Pac-12 Freshman of the Year and first-team All-Pac-12 at the end of the regular season. He averaged 16.1 points per game on 57 per cent shooting and pulled down 8.6 rebounds a game. The next season, in 2020, he declared for the NBA Draft.
