Bruce Brown

Bruce Brown Jr. is an elite two-way bench player currently playing for the Toronto Raptors.

Hailing from Wakefield, Massachusetts, Brown attended Vermont Academy in Saxtons River, Vermont where his basketball journey began to take shape. Post high school, he played at the University of Miami (Florida) from 2016 to 2018.

In the 2018 NBA Draft, the Detroit Pistons selected him as the 42nd overall pick. Brown then got traded from Detroit to Brooklyn, where he emerged as a solid bench player alongside stars like Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and later, James Harden.

Embracing his role as a key reserve player, Brown made a significant impact on the court with his hustle, sharpshooting, and athleticism. He became akin to a "Swiss Army knife" in basketball terms. His stint with the Brooklyn Nets set the stage for the next chapter in his career.

In the 2022 offseason, Brown took on a new challenge by joining the Denver Nuggets, where he played a crucial part in their championship-winning campaign coming off the bench. In the 2023 NBA off-season, Brown received a better two-year contract with the Indiana Pacers.

Just a few months into the 2023/24 NBA season, Brown was traded by the Indiana Pacers to the Toronto Raptors in the blockbuster "Pascal Siakam Trade".
