Jalen Green is an American basketball player who plays for the Houston Rockets in the NBA. Born on February 9, 2002, Green is known for being an explosive shooting guard.

Hailing from Merced, California, Green was a basketball prodigy who played three years for San Joaquin Memorial High School in Fresno, and at Prolific Prep in Napa for his senior season. During his glittering high school career, Green was a certified five-star phenom and earned recognition as the best shooting guard in the country.

As one of the best young players in the USA, Green also represented the United States at the junior level. He was an MVP at the 2018 FIBA Under-17 World Cup as the US won the championship.

Green was picked second overall by the Houston Rockets in the 2021 NBA Draft and wasted no time in establishing himself as an offensive dynamo. He made history by becoming the fourth youngest player to achieve the impressive feat of scoring 40 points in five games before turning 22, a distinction he now shares with only basketball legends - Tracy McGrady, Allen Iverson, and Carmelo Anthony.

In the 2022/23 NBA season, Green averaged 22.1 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 3.7 assists per game.
