Jalen Pickett is an American professional basketball player who plays at the Point Guard position for the Denver Nuggets in the NBA. Pickett was born in Rochester, New York and stands at 6 feet and 2 inches tall. He attended Aquinas Institute in New York and helped lead his team to a NYSPHSAA (New York State Public High School Athletic Association) Class AA championship and was also named the Most Valuable Player (MVP). He also decided to complete a postgraduate year, which he did at the SPIRE Academy.

Pickett decided to join Sienna College in New York from 2018 to 2021 and later transferred to Pennsylvania State University, where he remained from 2021 to 2023. Throughout his collegiate career, he averaged 15.3 points, 5.4 rebounds and 5.8 assists per game, as per Sports Reference. He declared for the 2023 NBA Draft and was picked with the 32nd overall pick in the second round of the draft by the Indiana Pacers and was subsequently traded his draft rights to the Denver Nuggets. As of May 2025, he averaged 3.2 points, 1.1 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game in 76 games in his career, as per Basketball Reference.
