Born on 06 October 1978, Jamahl Mosley is an American former basketball player and a head coach for the Orlando Magic. In the 2021 offseason, Mosley was hired by the Magic and the upcoming NBA season of 2023-24 will be his third year with the team.

Mosley joined the Colorado Buffaloes for his undergraduate career and competed in the NCAA as their men's basketball team. He averaged 11.4 points per game and 6.7 rebounds per game for the Varsity squad, earning All-Big 12 Conference recognition. The player practiced his career overseas before pursuing his career as a coach after going undrafted in the 2001 NBA draft.

In 2005, Mosley started his coaching stint with the Denver Nuggets in the NBA and was later promoted to be the team’s assistant coach. Thereafter, from 2010 to 2021, Mosley was traded to multiple teams including the Cleveland Cavaliers, and Dallas Mavericks.
