Craig Reynolds plays as the running back for the Detroit Lions of the NFL. He went undrafted in 2019 after setting records at Division II Kutztown and reportedly interviewed for insurance jobs before getting a chance to play in the NFL.

Reynolds has accumulated a total of 515 rushing yards, one rushing touchdown, 22 receptions, 218 receiving yards after five seasons in the NFL. Reynolds’ lack of playing time and inconsistency has made it hard to evaluate his true potential.

Reynolds scored his first career touchdown in a win over the Carolina Panthers on October 8th , 2023. The following week, Reynolds arguably had the highlight of his career when he threw a powerful block to help teammate Amon-Ra St. Brown score a touchdown. His block received a lot of attention around the NFL.

Reynolds played his college football for Kutztown where he played for five seasons. He redshirted his true freshman year but in his sophomore season, Reynolds was named to first-team All American. He led his conference with 1,189 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns.

His 1,189 yards rank third all-time in Kutztown’s history for rushing yards in a season. Meanwhile his 14 rushing TDs are also tied for third. Reynolds was also a good receiver and he racked up 19 receptions for 163 yards through the air and had 378 return yards. His 1,730 all-purpose yards ranks fourth in PSAC (Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference). Despite all of his accomplishments prior to the NFL, he went undrafted in 2019.
