Marcellas Rashard Dial Jr., is an American football player who graduated from the University of South Carolina with a major in interdisciplinary studies in December 2022. He declared himself for the 2024 NFL draft. He attended Woodruff High School and was graded a three-star prospect by ESPN.

The 6’3, 207 pounds’ SC native embarked on his collegiate football journey with Georgia Military College in 2019. As a freshman he rallied 10 tackles, one fumble recovery and one interception. Dial entered the NCAA transfer portal in the following year and transferred to University of South Carolina. When he entered the transfer portal, he was rated the No. 7 junior college corner and No. 51 overall JUCO prospect. In his redshirt sophomore season in 2021, Hart played in 13 games making seven starts at the cornerback position.

Hart became a full-time starter in his junior season in 2022 playing all 13 games in the cornerback and 45 tackles, made a team-high 12 pass breakups and led the team with three interceptions. He posted a career high in interceptions (3) and pass breakups (12) in that same year.

In 2023 as a senior, Hart recorded only 36 tackles including two for loss and a sack. The Gamecocks have leaned heavily on the Woodruff native for years and helped him develop into one of the best cornerbacks in the Southeastern Conference.
