Destiny 2 will enter another weekly reset in 2024, as players keep themselves busy with seasonal activities and core content in the game. The community returns to the usual loop of completing challenges, seasonal story content, and more every week. This article will list everything in the upcoming weekly reset in Season of the Wish.

Weekly resets are a big deal for the primary gameplay loop, as one rotation usually means a complete change of rewards for certain activities, items from vendors, and a change in activities as well.

All upcoming content with Destiny 2 weekly reset in Season of the Wish (May 28 to June 4)

Here is a short overview of all the activities in the coming reset of Season 23, followed by detailed pointers on each of them:

  • Final week of Season 23
  • HyperNet Current Nightfall
  • Momentum Control and the new map pack in the Crucible rotator
  • King's Fall and Grasp of Avarice in Raid and Dungeon rotator
  • Vox Obscura in Exotic mission rotator
  • All ritual activities have bonus ranks, including Vanguard, Gambit, and Crucible

1) HyperNet Current Nightfall

HyperNet Current Nightfall in Destiny 2 will return this season to enter the Grandmaster pool. Players worldwide can choose to run the mission in any difficulty they please, which will result in different rarities of weapon drops.

HyperNet Current will have the following modifiers:

  • Overcharged Grenade Launcher
  • Solar and Stasis Surges
  • Epitaph, where Taken combatants spawn Blight geysers after getting killed
  • Unstoppable and Overload Champions
  • Arc Threat, for increased incoming Arc damage from enemies

2) Season of the Wish final week

Season of the Wish will have its final week before the next expansion. Everyone must get into the seasonal grinds, as all weapons, vendors, and activities related to any season post-Lightfall will disappear. Anyone looking to hoard bounties should be wary of certain bounties unviable with an expansion launch, such as seasonal and ritual bounties.

3) Crucible game modes

Momentum Control will be the weekly featured game mode in the Crucible section, alongside three new maps in the playlist. Regarding the latest maps, players will get the following maps:

  • Eventide Labs based on Europa
  • Cirrus Plaza based on Neomuna
  • Dissonance based on Terraformed Pyramid Ship

Momentum Control guarantees full-on chaos among the participating players and their weapons. Each weapon has significantly increased damage, making most of the 1v1 fights short.

It is also a great game mode to level your weapons with completion, and farm commendations.

4) King's Fall and Grasp of Avarice

King's Fall and Grasp of Avarice in Destiny 2 will become available in their respective rotators. All weapons will be available for farming from both activities. Players can farm the Master variant of the Raid as well, be it all the encounters or just an individual one. Farming Master encounters will drop the Adept version of Raid weapons.

The Touch of Malic Exotic will be farmable from the final boss encounter in Vow of the Disciple.

5) Bonus ritual ranks

Completing each Crucible and Gambit match, alongside Vanguard activity will grant increased reputation rank towards the respective vendor. Accumulating enough EXP will earn players additional engram, allowing everyone to focus on their favorite weapons.

6) Last week of Pantheon

Pantheon is a boss gauntlet time-limited event starting from April 30, until the launch of The Final Shape on June 4. Here is the line-up of bosses and the required power level each week in Pantheon:

  • 1st week (April 30): Players will be five power levels lower than enemies. Golgoroth, Caretaker, Zo'aurc, and Atraks-1.
  • 2nd week (May 7): Players will be 10 power levels lower than enemies. Oryx will be added alongside the previous four bosses.
  • 3rd week (May 14): Players will be 15 power levels lower than enemies. Rhulk will be added alongside the previous five bosses.
  • 4th week (May 21): Players will be 20 power levels lower than enemies. Riven and Nezarec will be added alongside the previous six bosses.

Rewards will include special emblems, Exotic weapons, and triumphs.

With Pantheon's last weekly reset, Riven and Nezarec will join the Golgoroth, Caretaker, Planets, Atraks, Oryx, and Rhulk's lineup. Players will also see a rise in the enemy's power, where everyone in the fireteam will be 20 powers below the enemies in the encounter.

There will possibly be another quest related to the activity, since RIven's and Nezarec's encounters hold the One Thousand Voices and Conditional Finality in the loot pools.
