Aaron Gordon is an American professional power forward for the Denver Nuggets of the NBA as of May 2025. He was selected by the Orlando Magic in the 2014 NBA Draft as the fourth overall pick. He played for Orlando from 2014-2021, after which he was traded to the Nuggets on March 25, 2021, along with Gary Clark in exchange for Gary Harris, R.J. Hampton, and a future first-round pick.

Gordon won his sole NBA Championship in 2023, representing the Denver Nuggets. In the 2024-25 season, he has played 51 games, as of May 2025. He averages 14.7 points, 4.8 total rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game. His field goal percentage is 53.1% while his 3-point FG percentage is 43.6%.

Shelly Davis Gordon is the mother of Aaron Gordon. She completed her higher secondary education from Redmond High School, Redmond, Washington (1975-1978). For her Bachelor's in Computer Information Systems, she joined San Diego State University, minoring in German language (1979-1982). Her education was further expanded to the University of San Diego, where she did her MBA from 1984-1986. Professionally, she joined Unisys Corporation as a product marketing engineer from January 1982- January 1986. After that, she worked with Intel as a product marketing engineer for a year. In January 1988, she joined LSI Logic Corporation as Product Marketing Manager till January 1994. Her longest experience was at Xilinx, Inc., where she worked for over 16 years as the Senior Manager, Engineering Programs (January 1994- December 2013). In 2025, she is handling the managerial work at the Gordon Family Giving Foundation, started by her son, Aaron Gordon. She lives in San Jose, California, as of May 2025 (via Shelly Davis' LinkedIn profile).
