Adebayo was selected as the 14th overall pick by the Miami Heat in the first round of the 2017 NBA Draft. The three-time All-Star has led the team to the NBA Finals two times (2020 and 2023). In the 2022/23 season, Adebayo played 75 games with the Heat, averaging 20.4 points, 9.2 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.2 steals and 0.8 blocks per game. He shot 54.0%, including 8.3% from the deep end, and played his second NBA All-Star game in the same season.
