Danilo Gallinari is an Italian seasoned veteran who currently plays for the Milwaukee Bucks as a versatile forward. Gallinari, affectionately called as “Gallo”, is known for his elite gameplay as a stretch four player.

Gallinari was drafted sixth overall by the New York Knicks in the 2008 NBA draft, marking his start of the long NBA career. From his early days in the NBA, Gallinari demonstrated his tremendous scoring prowess.

He once made eight three-pointers for the Knicks in October 2009, which was just one short of breaking the Knicks' all-time record for three-pointers in a game. However, his trajectory took a significant turn when he was traded to the Denver Nuggets in the blockbuster Carmelo Anthony trade. Renowned for his silky smooth jump shot and fundamental footwork, he consistently averaged 15 or more points during his six-year tenancy.

Later in his NBA career, he had successful stints with the LA Clippers, OKC Thunder and the Atlanta Hawks. For the Clippers, Gallinari achieved a career-high average of 19.8 points per game during the 2018-19 NBA season. Then, Gallo had one brilliant season at Oklahoma City when he led the young Thunder team to the playoffs out of nowhere. And later, his tenure with the Atlanta Hawks featured one amazing playoff run to the Eastern Conference Finals in 2021.

Outside of the NBA, Gallinari has represented the Italian national team and has also ventured into the world of modeling, working for Armani. Now with the Milwaukee Bucks, Danilo Gallinari brings his wealth of experience to a championship chasing team that wants veteran presence off the bench.
