Karl-Anthony Towns Jr. is a Dominican-American basketball player. He is currently playing in the Center-Forward position for the Minnesota Timberwolves in the NBA.


Karl-Anthony Towns was born on November 15, 1995 in Edison, New Jersey, United States. He played basketball in his high school and in college years before joining the NBA. He made his NBA debut for the Minnesota Timberwolves on October 28, 2015. Since then, he has become a 3-time NBA All-Star player in 2018, 2019 and 2022. He also gained other achievements like being the NBA Rookie of the Year in 2016. He was also the Gatorade National Player of the Year in 2014. Additionally, he has also represented the Dominican Republic in the 2012 Centrobasket in Puerto Rico.
