During his stint with the Lakers, Morris played a key role off the bench in the 2020 playoffs in the bubble. He scored 16 points in just 23 minutes, shooting 6-of-8 from the field and 4-of-5 from the parking lot in Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinals against the Houston Rockets. This helped the Lakers secure a commanding lead in that series, and eventually, the Lakers won the series and the 2020 NBA championship.
