Donovan Wilson is an American football safety for the Dallas Cowboys in the NFL. The Dallas Cowboys selected him as the 213th pick of the sixth round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He attended Woodlawn High School, where he started playing football. As a senior, Wilson recorded 70 tackles, 13 interceptions. He was named Defensive Player of the Year and Class 4A All-state honors as a senior. Wilson committed to play collegiate football with Texas A&M.

As a freshman in 2014, Wilson recorded 19 tackles in 10 games. As a sophomore in 2015, he started 7 games as a defensive back while recording 63 tackles, 5 interceptions, and 2 sacks. In the 2020 season of the NFL, Wilson recorded 71 tackles, and 3.5 sacks. The 2022 NFL season was his breakthrough season in which he recorded 101 total tackles, 5 sacks, and one interception.
