Cole Swider is a basketball forward for the Detroit Pistons and their NBA G affiliate, Motor City Cruise as of November 2024. He signed a two-way contract with the Pistons in August 2024. After he went undrafted in the 2022 NBA Draft in July, he signed a two-way contract with the Los Angeles Lakers. A season later, in 2023, he was waived by the Lakers in July, and in August, he signed another two-way contract with the Miami Heat. In his two seasons with the NBA, he played in 25 games, averaging 2.0 points, 0.4 assists, and 0.6 rebounds as of November 2024.

Swider went to St. Andrew's School while growing up in Portsmouth, Rhode Island. He averaged 26.5 points, 11.2 rebounds, and 3.1 assists as a junior, earning him the Rhode Island Gatorade Player of the Year award. In his senior year, he scored 31 points per game. According to The Providence Journal, throughout his high school, Swider scored 2467 points In 2018, he enrolled at Villanova University and after three seasons, he transferred to Syracuse University for his senior year in 2021-22. In his four-season college career, he played in 110 games, starting 50, averaging 7.8 points, 0.9 assists and 3.7 rebounds.
