Yankees use LeBron James to troll Cleveland Indians on Twitter
The New York Yankees used Ohio's most famous son — LeBron James — to troll the Cleveland Indians ahead of their playoff series.
Despite being from northern Ohio, LeBron James has always been a diehard New York Yankees fan.
Now James' Yankees are preparing for Game 1 of the American League Division Series against the Cleveland Indians, and they could not help but show off one of their biggest fans on Twitter.
The Yankees posted a picture of James wearing a Yankees hat in 2007, when James rooted for New York in a playoff game against the Indians. It caused an uproar 10 years ago, even though the Indians won that series.
As the Indians made their run to the World Series last year, James expressed support for his actual home team by attending several games in Indians gear. It remains to be seen if James' Yankees pride will show up during the ALDS games at Progressive Field.
