Andrew Jared Epenesa is an American football defensive end for the Buffalo Bills in the NFL. The Bills drafted Epenesa with the 54th pick in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Epenesa finished his rookie season with 14 tackles and a sack. However in 2021, despite not starting a single game, Epenesa finished the season with two sacks and fourteen tackles. In the 2022 season, he had a better showing with seven sacks and sixteen tackles. Whereas in 2023, Epenesa recorded 20 tackles, one forced fumble, seven sacks, and his first touchdown. In 2024, he signed a contract extension for two years with the Bills.

Epenesa committed to play collegiate football at the University of Iowa in 2017. He earned 15 tackles in his debut season there, earning a spot on the Big Ten Conference All-Freshmen team. The following season, he was among the five candidates for Polynesian Player of the Year, as he recorded 37 tackles and 10.5 sacks. He had a better season in 2019 when he was a nominee for the Ted Hendricks Award and was voted the Holiday Bowl Defensive Most Valuable Player. Epenesa decided to forego his senior year and declare for the 2020 NFL Draft after the season. Before playing collegiate football, Epenesa attended Edwardsville High School, where he was recognized for his achievements in track and football.
