Kansas City Chiefs football center Creed Humphrey was born on June 28, 1999, in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He was drafted in the second round (63rd pick) of the 2021 NFL Draft. As a rookie in the league, he started all 17 games and was named into the PFWA All-Rookie Team in 2021. Following his first season, he has made two consecutive appearances in the Super Bowl-winning games. Humphrey was a key component of the Chiefs' 38–35 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LVII as the defense gave no sacks in the game as per the NFL website. Since his draft, Humphrey has been selected for the Pro Bowl thrice (2022,2023, 2024) and has made the Second-team All-Pro once (2022).
