Karlaftis won Super Bowl LVII in 2023 and Super Bowl LVIII in 2024 with the team. During his rookie season, he earned a spot on the 2022 PFWA All-Rookie Team. As of January 2025, he has recorded 115 total tackles, including 68 solo tackles and 24.5 sacks.
Karlaftis played for the Purdue Boilermakers from 2019 to 2021, representing Purdue University at the collegiate level. Over his collegiate career, he recorded a total of 99 tackles and 14.5 sacks in 27 games as per Sports Reference.
